Samashtee: Festival Of Arts & Literature celebrates the glory of ambedkarite and rebellious literature and art forms of the past and connects them to its modern day future through involvement of young, upcoming artists and performers.
'Samashtee' a universal conceptual terminology was brought into the Marathi literature by the most significant poet Namdeo Dhasal. He dreamt of Samashtee's true objectives and viewed it as the one eternal substance of which the universe is only the ramification or diversified representation. He wished for a universal aggregation.
The world he saw was so horrible that he had no choice but to destroy everything first and create the world in his visualizations.
